ANYONE stopping by Henley’s recently re-opened library in Ravenscroft Road may be surprised to see image depictions of their book genres.

In the “Crime” section, an image of the Marsh Lock footbridge, which was closed in 2022 following complaints about its condition, has been comically included to illustrate the genre.

Disagreement over its ownership between the Environment Agency and Oxfordshire County Council have contributed to the delays of its repair.
