CHEF Shaun Dickens, who runs Bistro at the Boathouse in Station Road, Henley, thought he had seen it all — that was until last Friday.
He posted a video on Instagram and said: “Years and years ago we used to have people walk in, have a look around and walk straight back out again because it was empty.
“For the first time ever, we had three tables tonight walk in and walk out again because we were too busy, too loud, to buzzy and too much atmosphere. To those three tables I profusely apologise for having a busy restaurant that’s lively. Hospitality throws up many a challenge but this one — do you know what? I’ll take it.”
