A PUB has launched a Grumpy Club.

Nick Willson, landlord of the Flowing Spring at Playhatch, chaired the first meeting last week.

He says: “The purpose of the club is to get together and banish those bees in your bonnets, let off steam and grumble away those gripes.

“It’s not about the big things like politics and religion, it’s those irritations, niggles and beefs we encounter in day-to-day life.”

In his invitation to potential members, including me (yes, I can be a grump), Nick said: “Don’t forget, when you arrive and purchase your drinks you must complain about the price. This will get you in the mood!”
