RESIDENTS of South Oxforshire are a fairly contented bunch, according to figures released by the Office for National Statistics.

The district received a rating of 7.51 out of 10 for what people said were the happiest and most miserable places in the country.

The Outer Hebrides was voted the happiest place to live with a score of 8.24, while East Northamptonshire was the unhappiest with 7.01. Smile please!
