OUR front page story last week about three migrants who stowed away in a £250,000 motor boat being delivered from France to Wargrave has sparked off the village wags.
With the Channel Tunnel chaos at Calais, the trio apparently climbed into the 35ft boat as it was on a ferry from Le Havre to Portsmouth and jumped out and ran off when the boat was being delivered by lorry to Val Wyatt Marine.
Those wags were swift to point out that Wargrave is in the parliamentary constituency of Home Secretary Theresa May and that her remit includes immigration.
Luckily for Mrs May, the men were swiftly arrested and now face deportation.
