THE Kenton Theatre in Henley should still be going strong in 200 years’ time, says the chairman of trustees Ed Simons.

The New Street venue is the fourth oldest working theatre in the country and celebrates its 210th anniversary this month.

Ed says: “We’re enormously proud to have maintained the legacy.

“What they would have done 210 years ago is what we’re doing now. As long as we do that people will continue to come.”
