AS a busy Wokingham borough councillor, John Halsall sometimes wishes he could be in two places at once.
And he may have found a novel solution to the problem at a Wargrave Parish Council meeting.
When reminded of the annual parish meeting, which took place on Tuesday this week, Cllr Halsall said he would be unable to attend due to another engagement.
But he suggested sending a cardboard cut-out of himself to the meeting instead, ensuring he would have some sort of presence on the day.
Other councillors suggested the cut-out could be a permanent fixture going forward, meaning Cllr Halsall would never have to miss a meeting again.
