Firefighters in Slough tackled an electrical fire in Slough on Friday.

At 6.35am on October 24, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) received reports of a fire on Mendip Close.

Crews from Slough, Langley and Windsor Fire Stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire caused by an electric fan heater.

Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire before ventilating smoke from the property with a fan.

Crews were at the scene for approximately 35 minutes.
