Firefighters with Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) had to rescue someone who got trapped in a restroom on Thursday.

At about 10.50am on October 23, RBFRS received reports of the incident in Peascod Street and sent one crew from Slough Fire Station to the scene.

Upon arrival, the crew discovered a person trapped in a restroom in an eating and drinking establishment and rescued them.

The crew was at the scene for eight minutes, using a small gear to release them. These can include hand tools for cutting, prying, and breaking in, or rescue equipment.
