Church raiser

A FUNDRAISING event in aid of St Mary’s Church in Wargrave will take place tomorrow (Saturday).

Ride and Stride is an annual event in which residents choose to walk, cycle or drive to as many churches as they can from 10am to 6pm.

The money raised is split between the Berkshire churches and a trust of the group’s choice.

In Wargrave, the church set up three teams for those who wish to cycle and for walkers navigating an “easy” and “challenging” route through the Lambourne Valley.
