Woodcote defeated

WOODCOTE Development went down to a 4-2 defeat in their away clash at Compton in Division 1 of the North Berks League.

The visitors gave themselves a mountain to climb by conceding two early goals, but Will Thomas scored on the half-hour mark to reduce the arrears.

In the second half Compton scored to make it 3-1 and despite the home side’s dominance, a good strike from Zac Fanstone made it 3-2.

In the last minute of the match Compton grabbed a fourth goal to take all three points.
