KIDMORE END slipped to fourth place in the Senior Division after going down to a 5-2 defeat at Gallowstree Common against new league leaders READING YMCA.

Elsewhere in the division EMMER GREEN ran out 3-0 winners at home to EASTERN RANGERS.

An unmarked Adam Tombs opened the scoring for the hosts with a bullet header into the roof of the net. Emmer Green added their second shortly after when the ball fell to captain Daniel Donegan who fired home from 10 yards out.

Chris Read was unfortunate when he fired over the bar from close range. Soon after Emmer Green made it 3-0 with a header from Richard Eastwood who got on the end of a Daniel Donegan corner just before half-time.

In the second half Emmer Green had several chances to extend their lead but couldn’t convert.



MAPLEDURHAM suffered their heaviest defeat of the season as they went down 8-0 away to Division 3 East league leaders ELDON CELTIC.

Hugh Barklem scored all nine goals as HENLEY YMCA UNITED won 9-1 away to DELTA VIGO.
