A CHRISTMAS shopping evening will take place in Goring tonight (Friday).

Residents will be able to come to the High Street and the Arcade to shop at retailers and stalls from 4pm to 8pm.

A children’s choir will perform carols and children can explore a fire engine and have hot chocolate.

There will also be a gingerbread trail and decorate a gingerbread man activity at Goring library.

Recently, Lottie Macfarlane’s child was hit by a person driving dangerously while on the zebra crossing on Hatch Lane, Windsor resulting in her being injured. Her petition asks to move the zebra crossing so that it’s not as close to Tesco’s car park (Hatch Lane) or the roundabout.
