24-hour road closures

A 24-HOUR daily road closure will take place in Henley for 13 days in October.

Vehicles will be prohibited in the junction of Peppard Lane with Berkshire Road from Thursday, October 2 to Wednesday, October 15. This is to allow SSE to complete electricity works.

Traffic signs will be displayed and exemptions are included for emergency services, residents, cyclists and pedestrians.

The alternative route for traffic is via Belle Vue Road, St Andrew’s Road, Berkshire Road, Manor Road, Peppard Lane and vice versa.

Elsewhere, plans have been submitted to alter the shopfront in 40A Bell Street, where Riviera House Boutique is proposed.

This is to increase the height from 1.75m to 2.60m to allow greater light visibility by partially removing a glazing bar joinery.
