Those were the days...

SINGER-songwriter and composer, Jessica Lee Morgan, who grew up in Henley, will be reminiscing and performing some of her songs at the Morrell Room in Streatley next month.

The daughter of Mary Hopkin, best known for her 1969 hit Those Were The Days, and music producer Tony Visconti, Jessica has just written a book, You Know What You Should Do?, about her childhood, growing up in a famous family.

Former Beatle George Harrison was a neighbour and Jessica would hang out in her father’s studio, making coffee for musicians such as David Bowie and T-Rex.

Jonathan Clifton will be interviewing Jessica.

“An evening with Jessica” is at the Morrell Room off the High Street, Streatley, on Friday, October 10 at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm). Tickets cost £10.
