Hospital help

A FREE event to mark the 70th anniversary of the Friends of Townlands Hospital will take place in Market Place, Henley, tomorrow (Saturday) from noon to 3pm.

Volunteers will be on hand to give information about the work of the group while there will be a rowing machine, face painting and children’s entertainer Bertie Slippers.

The group fundraises to provide extra amenities for outpatients at Townlands Memorial Hospital and helps to fund specialist medical equipment.
