Looking back

AN exhibition following the evolution of the meeting house of the Henley Quakers will take place next Saturday from 2pm to 5pm.

The Quaker Architectural Heritage — Beyond the Bricks at the Friends Meeting House in Northfield End will tell the story of how the building was built on biscuits.

The Victorian building was built to replace the old cottage meeting room that had been in use since the 17th century when the Quakers first arrived in Henley.

Entry is free and open to all, with free refreshments, including biscuits.
