Artist to discuss WWI-themed paintings

AN artist will discuss her First World War-themed paintings at a Goring gallery on Thursday.

Anna Dillon’s Battlelines Redrawn project depicts the battlefields of Europe a century after the conflict began. It focuses on the landscapes of the Ypres salient and the Somme using paintings by wartime artists for reference.

The event at Art at Goring in High Street will start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7.50, which includs a glass of wine. Proceeds will go to Help for Heroes.
