Komurakwai strike gold at club championships

SONNING COMMON’S Komurakwai Judo Club enjoyed a successful championships held at Woodlands Park Village Centre in Maidenhead.

The championships included competition from Goring, Woodlands Park, Sandhurst, Emmer Green, Claires Court and St Piran’s judo clubs. Komurakwai came away with gold, silver and bronze medals after some tough competition.

Georgia Florantino took the shield for best juvenile, the James family won the trophy for total commitment, Josh Copping won the Progress Cup, Charlie James the Best Technique Trophy and Amelie and Finley McFarlane won the Best Junior Shield between them.
