SHOPPERS have been told “don’t panic” as fuel supplies begin to flow again. But in Henley yesterday (Thursday) there was “petro-mania” as an overnight delivery reached the Esso garage in Reading Road. Police were forced to divert traffic as jams backed up to the town centre. Two men had a lucky escape when their 1940 Tiger Moth made an emergency landing in a field in Remenham — and then flipped over. A pilot from Tiger Fly, based at Wycombe Air Park, managed to land the Royal Air Force trainer aeroplane in a field near Ashton Lane, Remenham, after the engines cut out mid-flight.
