THE new Townlands Hospital in Henley is not ready on time. Patients and staff were being moved out of the existing hospital this week but its replacement is late because there is still internal work outstanding. The building is still surrounded by scaffolding. The new
£16 million “health campus” is due to be officially opened on December 7 but that date now looks likely to be put back.

A rugby-mad schoolboy took to the field as a mascot at the World Cup final at Twickenham. Freddie Collins, 12, walked out with Australian captain Stephen Moore ahead of Saturday’s showpiece match with New Zealand, which the All Blacks won 34-17. He stood with the Wallabies team for the national anthems.
