Still time to enter swim

TICKETS are available for the Wargrave and Shiplake Regatta swim next Saturday (August 5).

Competitors can take part in three events, a 1km race, 2km race and a “go with the flow” 400m drift down the Thames. There is an additional junior race for 12- to 16-year-olds. 

The swim is held on the second morning of the two-day regatta with registration from 5.45am. 

A short prizegiving ceremony for the winners will be held.

Entry costs £25 for the 1km and 2km races and £10 for the 400m event. This includes entry to the Regatta on Saturday and a bacon or sausage roll or vegetarian alternative after the race.
