THE planting of a new 80m hedgerow at Kings Field in Wargrave will take place on Sunday.

Andy Meader, chairman of Wargrave Cricket Club, has asked villagers to help.

Planting will happen at the dog field end of the field in Recreation Road from 1pm.

About 400 saplings have been supplied by the Woodland Trust including silver birch, rowan, hawthorn, wild cherry and blackthorn species.
