MEMBERS of the Watlington community are invited to become part of a public art trail by having their figure incorporated into a sculpture.

Joseph Hillier, the sculptor behind the proposed “Art Spine” trail, will create 3D scans of people, either individually, as a group or even with well-behaved dogs, to incorporate into his sculpture To Build a Community.

The scans will be used to create small, lost wax bronzes to integrate into the sculpture, which is set to be installed at the town hall next spring.

Hillier will host
pre-booked 30-minute sessions at the town hall from November 4 to 6.

Participants should bring along an object they feel connects them to Watlington.

To book a slot, contact the parish council office on (01491) 613867 or email art
