Orme lifts title again

FORMER Henley resident Nigel Orme has been crowned British powerlifting champion for the second year running.

And on his last lift in Bristol he broke the British deadlift record by lifting 170kg.

He is hoping to represent Great Britain at the World Championships in Azerbaijan next year.

In June, Orme took silver at the World Powerlifting Congress European Championships in Stoke-on-Trent.
