A NEW roof for Woodcote village hall is estimated to cost between £250,000 and £290,000.

The parish council, which owns the building in Reading Road, is looking at replacing the existing roof due to its ongoing maintenance and repair costs.

The authority met on Tuesday where members reviewed tenders for the work.
