Holland duo set pace at Greys Court

THIS year’s South Oxfordshire Primary School cross country series — now in its 21st year — got under way last Saturday at Greys Court where 12 races took place for students in years 1 to 6.

The results of the races were as follows:

Year 1: boys’ — 1 Isaac Cottle, Sonning Common; 2 James Purdue, Kidmore End; 3 Jack Friend, Rupert House; girls’ — 1 Victoira Vernon, Rupert House; 2 Jessica Davidson, Trinity; 3 Fabienne Mattingly, Shiplake.

Year 2: boys’ — 1 Joshua Mattingly, Shiplake; 2 Isaac Downing, Trinity; 3 George Gibbons, Trinity; girls’ — 1 Sienna Lakin, Nettlebed; 2 Eva
Worthfold, Kidmore
End; 3 Bethan Palmer, Shiplake.

Year 3: boys’ — 1 Max Smith, Sacred Heart; 2 Finley Green, Trinity; 3 Felix Cottle, Rupert House; girls’ — 1 Phoenix Soles, Nettlebed; 2 Freya Hammond, Kidmore End; 3 Freya Loutjen, St Mary’s.

Year 4: boys’ — 1 Teddy Holland, Kidmore End; 2 James Monaghan, Moulsford; 3 Lucas Durrant, Kidmore End; girls’ — 1 Grace Holland, Manot; 2 Nooksy Gyoker, St Mary’s and Isabelle Bromley, Trinity; 3 Alice Friend, Rupert House.

Year 5: boys’ — 1 Joseph Palmer, Shiplake; 2 Wilfred Spearman, Rupert House; 3 Raif Cottle, Rupert House; girls’ — 1 Teddy Molnar, Rupert House;
