Warner and Watson lead way

RUPERT House lead the way at the top of the South Oxfordshire Primary Schools winter series following the first round of races that took place at the fields and woods of Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge.

The Henley-based school top the table with 56 points with Moulsford second with 40 and Sonning Common third with 25.

The results were as follows:

Year 1: boys’ — 1 Harrison Barr, Rupert House; 2 Bobby Hageman, Whitchurch; 3 Isaac Cottle, Sonning Common; girls’ — 1 Phoebe Conway, Nettlebed; 2 Fabienne Mattingley, Shiplake; 3 Jessica Davidson, Trinity.

Year 2: boys’ — 1 Joshua Mattingley, Shiplake; 2 Wilfred Campbell, Whitchurch; 3 George Gibbons, Trinity; girls’ — 1 Eva Worsefold, Kidmore End; 2 Claudia Armitage, Rupert House; 3 Bethan Palmer, Shiplake.

Year 3: boys’ — 1 Max Smith, Sacred Heart; 2 Jack Siveyer, Whitchurch; 3 Henry C, Rupert House; girls’ - 1 Phoebe Soles, Nettlebed; 2 Freya Hamand, Kidmore End; 3 Ines Chad Bonde, Sacred Heart.

Year 4: boys’ — 1 Joseph Conway, Nettlebed; 2 Wilbur Lait, Moulsford; 3 Teddy Holland, Kidmore End; girls’ — 1 Grace Hollins, Manor; 2 Isabelle Bromley, Trinity; 3 Nooksy Gyoker, St Mary’s.
