ENTRIES were down for the opening round of the opening round of the South Oxfordshire Primary Schools cross-country series at Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge last Saturday.

The results were as follows:

Year 1: boys’ — 1 Otto Gherardi, Kidmore End; 2 Beatie Holland, Kidmore End; 3 Samuel Jeffrey, Kidmore End; girls’ — 1 Ortamn Juna, Nettlebed; 2 Connie Galea, Whitchurch; 3 Savanna Jones, Shiplake.

Year 2: boys’ — 1 Isaac Cottle, Sonning Common; 2 James Purdew, Kidmore End; 3 Henry Platt, St Mary’s; girls’ — 1 Jessica Davidson, Trinity; 2 Phoebe Conway, Checkendon; 3 Victoria Vernon, Rupert House.

Year 3: boys’ — 1 George Gibbons, Valley Road; 2 Maxime Panel, Sonning Common; girls’ — 1 Milla Chamberlain, Rupert House; 2 Florence Fergusson, Nettlebed; 3 Lily Ashworth, Caversham Primary.

Year 4: boys’ — 1 Henry Cuthbert, Rupert House; 2 Percy Forbes, Rupert House; 3 Thomas Jeffrey, Kidmore End; girls’ — 1 Francesca, The Heights; 2 Freya Hammand, Kidmore End; 3 Esmae Taylor, Nettlebed.
