Tribute to Lily

A TRIBUTE has been written for “Lily the duck”, the inflatable duck which raised more than £60,000 for charity but was absent from river events, including the weekend’s boat parade, following a ban on collecting at Phyllis Court.

Written by Emma May, she said: “Once upon the Thames, there was a great duck named Lily. She wasn’t just a duck — she was music, laughter, and light. She brought smiles to strangers, raised money for charity, and reminded us all of the simple power of joy.”
