QUEEN Anne’s School is an independent day and boarding school for girls aged 11 to 18, steeped in 130 years of excellence in education and bursting with innovation.
We are dedicated to providing an outstanding environment for girls to learn, supported by award-winning pastoral care.
We empower our students through a continually evolving education that fosters Kind Hearts, Fierce Minds, and Strong Spirits.
World ready education
At Queen Anne’s, we prepare our students to navigate the modern world and develop the skills they need to succeed.
We offer a seamless transition from primary to secondary school, encouraging new students to become accomplished independent learners and reach their full potential.
Our education evolves to the changing needs of young people, emphasising technological agility through integrated digital learning.
In 2023, 92 per cent of our leavers secured places at their first-choice post-18 destinations, predominantly Russell Group and Ivy League universities, as well as competitive degree apprenticeships.
We have been recognised by the Independent School of the Year Awards for student careers, highlighting our phenomenal careers and futures programme.
Nurturing talent
Queen Anne’s harnesses and develops the unique potential of young women. Whether starting in year 7, 9, or 12, our students are inspired in the classroom and develop their expertise and passions, free from gender stereotypes.
We offer extensive co-curricular activities, including high levels of sports, performing arts, music and various clubs and societies, such as the medicine society, musical ensembles, Chinese painting, trampolining, fitness, beekeeping, and STEM club to name a few.
These activities are integrated into our longer school days, alongside homework time.
Lara, head girl (2023-2024), who has been training with England lacrosse since the age of 17, says: “I have always been keen to make the most of the opportunities presented to me by the school.
“My co-curricular pursuits have been a key factor in helping me maintain balance while making positive contributions to school life.”
Female strength
We understand the importance of instilling strength, resilience and excellence in our girls.
Matilda Brock, an alumna of 2016, is now a junior doctor at Jersey General Hospital and recently completed her Jersey emergency transfer service training. Matilda gave an inspiring speech at our prize-giving ceremony this year.
Annabel Marlow, the school’s first drama scholar, pursued drama at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, wrote a one-woman show and has become a successful actress.
These accomplished women demonstrate that our students are well-prepared to excel in diverse and challenging careers.
Join us at our next open morning on Saturday, September 21 to learn how Queen Anne’s can provide the best platform for your daughter to grow, excel and make lifelong connections.
