Tuition extended beyond classroom

READING Blue Coat is a co-educational independent day school for students aged 11 to 18, within a picturesque 46-acre campus beside the River Thames.

We offer a challenging academic education, delivered by expert teachers in exceptional facilities, enabling students to achieve excellent results and progress to top universities and destinations.

Education at Reading Blue Coat extends beyond the classroom. Our broad and engaging co-curricular programme encourages students to explore new interests, gain valuable life skills and develop their individual strengths. Whether through music, sport, drama or our distinctive adventure education programme, students are challenged and supported to grow into confident, well-rounded young people, fully prepared for life beyond school.

We warmly invite you to our whole school open morning on Saturday, October 4, 9.30am to 12.30pm. Come along and explore the academic and co-curricular opportunities Reading Blue Coat has to offer your child.

Our sixth form open evening is on Tuesday, October 14 for parents and students keen to explore the A level options available at Blue Coat.

The evening includes student-led tours, a welcome talk from the headmaster, Mr Pete Thomas, an introduction to sixth-form life from the director of sixth form and an opportunity to discuss academic subjects with heads of department. This event is an ideal follow-up to our open morning on Saturday,
October 4.
