Space to learn and room to grow

THE Oratory Prep School offers a warm, ambitious education for children aged two to 13 in 65 acres of South Oxfordshire countryside.

Here, pupils grow in confidence and curiosity supported by outstanding teaching, exceptional pastoral care and a strong sense of community.

They move on to a wide range of senior schools in Year 9, well prepared and full of self-belief. We’re extremely proud to have won the “Best Learning Support” category in the 2025 Muddy Stilettos Schools Awards, recognising our inclusive and individual approach.

Children enjoy making the most of our outstanding facilities, including a 25m indoor pool, full-size artificial grass pitch, theatre and dedicated Forest School.

Sport is a core part of life at The Oratory Prep School, with expert coaching and an inclusive approach that encourages every child to take part and thrive, which is why we’ve been shortlisted in the “Sporting Achievement” category in the 2025 Independent Schools Awards. To support busy families, we run school buses from Henley, Reading and Watlington with convenient pick-up points along the way.

Our wrap-around care is unmatched with breakfast club from 7.30am and after-school care until 6pm with the option of flexi-boarding for children in Year 3 upwards.

Visit oratoryprep.co.uk to book your place at our next open morning on October 3 or arrange a private tour at a time that suits you and your family.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
