LIZ Earle is to give a talk in Henley next month.
The beauty entrepreneur will be promoting her latest book, A Better Second Half: Dial Back Your Age to Live a Longer, Healthier, Happier Life, about how midlife women can take back control of their health and wellbeing.
Earle, 60, will speak at a Henley Literature Festival pop-up event at the town hall on April 26 at noon.
She said: “Taking the reins of your health and happiness is the most important intervention you can make and only you can make those positive changes.
“I want this book to inspire you and to give you the confidence and tools to create a better second half where you don’t just survive, you dial back the years so you can thrive.”
Earle, who lives on a West Country farm with her five children, has released more than 35 books in a career spanning 30 years, including The Good Menopause Guide and The Good Gut Guide.
Her latest title shares crucial insight on topics such as the gut-brain connection, the benefits of high-intensity weight training and the pros and cons of low carb diets.
Festival director Harriet Reed Ryan said: “We’re delighted to welcome Liz back to Henley after many years.
“The topic of health and wellbeing — particularly later in life — has never been more important and I’m sure this will resonate with a lot of people who are overwhelmed by the huge amounts of information on how best to care for themselves.
“Liz is hugely experienced in this area and I’m so pleased she’s coming to Henley to share her knowledge with us.”
