Pool opening

A SWIMMING pool that underwent a £40,000 refurbishment will reopen on Monday.

Sonning Common Swimming Pool, located behind the school in Grove Road, has had its outdated fixtures, tiles and flooring replaced over the summer.

It was funded by public donations as well as £14,000 from Sport England and the school held various fundraising activities.

The pool is managed and operated on a not-for-profit basis by the school.
