Dame Mary at barn fair

A BOOK signing by Dame Mary Berry will take place at a Christmas fair in Little Stoke.

The cook and television personality, who lives in Henley, will be at the Coaching Barn on November 30 for the artisan fair. Her daughter Annabel Bosher will sell items the next day.

Stalls featuring local independent businesses, maker demonstrations, festive food and drink and crafts will also be available.

The events will raise funds for Maggie’s Cancer Care in Oxford.

Tickets cost £35 on Thursday, including a glass of fizz, two-course supper, live music and carols, and £5 on Friday for just shopping.

• A Christmas market will be held at Queen Anne’s School in Caversham on November 30 from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. All are welcome.
