A HENLEY musician will put down the double bass and pick up the guitar for his annual night at the Crooked Billet in Stoke Row.
Andy Crowdy’s Led Zeppelin Project, where he is joined by Henley guitarist Denny Ilett, Jerry Soffe, Ian Matthews and Ady Davey, is an evening of pure homage to the music of Sixties and Seventies legends, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham and John Paul Jones.
The band were known for hits such as Stairway to Heaven, Immigrant Song, Kashmir, Whole Lotta Love and Black Dog.
A well-established January tradition at the gastropub in Newlands Lane, the evening, which takes place on Monday (January 5), costs £38 as a music cover charge.
