Blondie tribute act at Kenton

A BAND celebrating the music of Debbie Harry and Blondie is coming to the Kenton Theatre next weekend.

Totally Blondie, comprising lead singer (and lookalike) Chloe, guitarist Spike, keyboard player John, bass player Paul and drummer Dave, with Chris as keyboard deputy, will perform the band’s best-known songs, throughout the Seventies and Eighties through to their 2017 album, Pollinator.

Formed in New York City in 1974, Blondie, fronted by singer Debbie Harry with musicians Clem Burke, Chris Stein, Jimmy Destri and others, had hits such as Hanging On the Telephone, One Way or Another, Call Me, Atomic, Heart of Glass, Sunday Girl, Denis and more.

Totally Blondie play the Kenton Theatre on Saturday, January 17 at 7.30am. Tickets cost £28 and the show is suitable for ages 14 and over.
