EXPANSION plans for the Tesco store in Henley will finally go before the general public on October 6 and 7. The designs, which include a new sports pavilion, have been kept under wraps and are causing much public speculation. Now an exhibition and a questionnaire will be used to determine public support and the town council will also be canvassing local shopkeepers.
Troublemakers will have pub doors closed to them with a new rural Pubwatch scheme. Licensees all around the Henley area will be able to link to a phone system informing them of unwelcome customers.
