ROAD closures will be in force in Hill Road and Spring Lane in Watlington from next Friday until Friday, October 17 to allow for resurfacing.
No access will be prohibited from 7am to 7pm. Both roads will be fully reopened outside of these times.
Hill Road car park will also be closed during the works and a diversion will be in place.
Traffic marshals will be on hand to direct traffic and pedestrians.
Works will include drainage improvements, vegetation works, ironwork adjustments and the resurfacing of the existing carriageway surface.
All existing road markings will be reinstated once works are complete.
Contractors for Oxfordshire County Council, the highways authority, will maintain vehicular access to businesses and properties affected by the work, although there may be delays once the new surface is laid.
Residents visiting Watlington Surgery, off Hill Road, are asked to allow more time to get to their appointment.
A diversion will be in place via Howe Road.
