Lots of new attractions at Easter weekend fair

THE Thame Country Fair is back over the Easter bank holiday, opening on Sunday and Monday from 10am to 6pm daily.

Two new attractions are the Horsemen of the Knight and the Walk Up Shoot, both in the Andy Singleton Arena.

The Horsemen of the Knight will present two different acts — a trick riding display and medieval jousting. Walk Up Shoot will eature gundog handlers and dogs simulating a typical day of shooting.

The showground will also feature a new eagle show in the falconry village, alongside the ever popular owl show.

Other activities include a cooking display in the Country Kitchen where resident chef Tony Robertson will be joined by TV chef Mark Lloyd and seafood specialists Henry Farrant and Mark Lees. Another new attraction this year is the Knights School where Horsemen of the Knight will be teaching basic sword and staff skills.
