School where children flourish

TUCKED away in Stoke Row village, just 15 minutes from Henley, Stoke Row CE Primary School offers a nurturing, high-quality education in a small setting. With a strong focus on both learning and wellbeing, the school creates an environment where pupils can grow with confidence and curiosity.

Executive headteacher Angela Wheatcroft says the school’s success lies in its balance of high expectations and strong pastoral care. Mrs Wheatcroft said: “We know every child as an individual, we celebrate effort and perseverance, which helps children reach their potential.”

This nurturing approach is reflected in the school’s Ofsted report, which notes, “pupils consistently show positive attitudes towards their learning and their school community” and that, “parents are eager to share how much their child has flourished since joining the school”.

Highly skilled teachers deliver an ambitious curriculum designed to inspire independent learners. Mrs Wheatcroft added: “I’m incredibly proud of our team. We continually invest in their development to maintain the highest standards of teaching.”

Getting children outdoors to learn and play is a priority, and the school’s outdoor spaces include an artificial grass pitch make this possible year-round.

Mrs Wheatcroft added: “We want every child to feel happy, valued and proud of what they achieve.”
