A TWO-MAN Sonning Common and Peppard A team lost 7-3 at home to Tidmarsh A in the latest round of Reading and District matches. Ed Lush won twice and teamed up with Nigel Maltby to earn a doubles win.
Danny Dockree and Angus Jones picked up singles as Sonning Common and Peppard B lost out to Kingfisher E in Division 2 while the C team battled hard against Kingfisher F before eventually losing 6-4 with Ian Davenport earning a double.
The D team continue to struggle in Division 3, Oliver Bonser picking their sole win in a 9-1 defeat against Sonning Sports C, while in Division 4 Mike Casserley managed two wins and Alistair Scott a single in their 7-3 defeat at Our Lady of Peace H, Tony Wheeler losing in five sets to both Isaac Doel and Bogdan Furtuna.
