SONNING Common and Peppard A were back to full strength as they claimed a 10-0 Reading and District League win at Tilehurst RBL A.
Gary Morgan, Ed Lush and Jamie Barlow all scored trebles, Barlow beating Marc Brent in a key second set 11-8, 6-11, 14-12, 8-11, 11-4.
Simon Berry and Danny Dockree both got three-straight maximums as the B team beat Our Lady of Peace D 8-2 in Division 2. The C team came close to a first win of the season but ended up losing 6-4 to Tilehurst RBL B, Jeremy Willis managed a 11-5, 4-11, 7-11, 11-8, 11-6 win against Kate Maksimenko while Denise Weller also picked up a win and ran Maksimenko close before losing 13-15, 16-14, 12-14, 5-11.
Holly Ranson won twice as the D team were defeated 7-3 at Our Lady of Peace E in Division 3, while Alistair Scott picked up both singles wins as the E team lost 7-3 to Kingfisher I in Division 4.
