SONNING Common and Peppard B ran out 7-3 winners against Tilehurst Royal British Legion B in their Reading and District League clash thanks to a hard-earned hat-trick from Simon Berry, two from Malcolm Gregory and a good win by Angus Jones against Cath Venning.

The result keeps the villagers up with the leading pack in Division 2. The C team are bottom in the same division.

The D team remain perilously perched just above the drop zone in Division 3, Holly Ranson their best performer on

80 per cent followed by Gerry Bacon on 47 per cent. In Division 4 the E team are in eighth place.
