THE Sonning Common and Peppard A side saw their Reading and District League Division 1 title chances all but ended after losing at home to title rivals and reigning champions Kingfisher A.

Daniel Moses won all three of his contests while Gary Morgan enjoyed a win against Kingfisher’s Hari Gehlot.

The B team boosted their chances of avoiding the drop despite a 6-4 defeat against Kingfisher C. The four points gained leaves the B team just a point from safety thanks to a fine maximum from Tom Astle. The C team remain above them after they lost 9-1 to Tilehurst RBL A, Danny Dockree managing a good win against Keith Winter.

In Division 3 the E team lost 6-4 to promotion chasing Kingfisher I while in Division 4 the F team remain in pole position despite being held to a draw by Our Lady of Peace E. The G team held Tilehurst RBL C to a 5-5 draw before losing 8-2 against Springfield C.
