AFC HENLEY U14s produced an impressive performance on Sunday morning to defeat NAPHILL U14s 2-1 and progress to the fourth round of the cup and extend their unbeaten run to 12 matches in all competitions.

Henley fell behind 1-0 at half-time despite a strong start, with goalkeeper Andrews making two important saves to keep the hosts in the contest.

Henley responded well after the break and equalised midway through the second half with a well-worked goal — a corner from Torreiro found Dholakia, who finished smartly with an inside-foot volley. Dholakia was outstanding throughout, posing a constant threat down the left wing and was named coaches’ player of the match.

The winning goal arrived three minutes from time. Lovelock held the ball up well before releasing Torreiro, who drove forward and struck a
30-yard effort into the top corner to seal the victory.

Henley saw out the remaining minutes to secure victory against higher-division opposition.
